Question by wondering: Will a psychiatrist prescribe xanax for post partom depression?
I have my first psych app Friday and with a new baby, marital problems and even a cancer scare, I’m wondering if its enough for a xanax script. I’ve taken it before on long flights to help with my fear of flying so I know it does help. Any info is appreciated.

I also take xanax. For anxiety. I had to go to apsychiatrist also. And I told them my pcp gave it to me so he gave it to me. But….. He was a little concerned because I have a small baby so it depends on the doc. Do u take any other meds?
